Identifying Insects Workshop

Identifying insects for beginners: A look into the biodiversity of life in the Corneille Bryan Native Garden
Saturday, July 15 at 10 a.m.

On this guided walk, led by entomologist Amanda Lytle, you will learn how to classify insects into their main biological orders. Participants can catch and get a close-up look at insects and learn how to categorize them, while also learning how they live, what they eat, and how they contribute to the ecosystem. All ages are welcome and children are encouraged to participate! Meet at Stuart Springs below the garden off Stuart Circle.

No registration is required for these events, but it does enable the garden to inform you of any changes or inclement weather cancellations. Contact [email protected] or 828-452-5840. Learn more about the garden on the garden’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/CorneilleBryanNativeGarden.
