Theologian in Residence – Rev. Dr. Daniel Shin

All are welcome for summer worship services at the Lakeside White Tent near Stuart Auditorium at 9 a.m. for Sunday outdoor worship services with our weekly  theologian in residence. A limited amount of seating is available, and attendees may bring their own chairs. Theologians in residence will also host devotions, discussions, workshops and more during their visit. Join us July 5-8 to welcome the Rev. Dr. Daniel Shin to Lake Junaluska.

More about the Rev. Dr. Daniel Shin

The Rev. Dr. Daniel Shin is the E. Stanley Jones Chair of Evangelism and associate professor of Theology and World Christianity at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degree from Wheaton College, a Master of Divinity from Yale University and his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. Shin is a prolific author and is the recipient of numerous honors and fellowships including the Henry Hallam Tweedy Prize, Yale University Divinity School and the National Association of Professors in Christian Education Award. Shin is being sponsored by The Foundation for Evangelism.
