Located 30 minutes from the Asheville Regional Airport and close to mountain towns of Waynesville and Maggie Valley, Lake Junaluska offers a wide array of meeting venues, equipment and services to meet all your needs. Our auditoriums can accommodate from 200 to over 2,000 people, while we also offer a plethora of smaller meeting rooms for more intimate discussions. Many of our rooms can also be used for special banquets or receptions. (We have wonderful catering and dining options!) Plus, with a lakeside walking trail and recreational amenities, there’s also plenty to do here on the grounds, with shopping, dining and more to enjoy nearby.

Available Venues for Conferences

The Bethea Welcome Center boasts a spacious lobby and two meeting spaces – Gaines Auditorium and the Native American Room – that each have free wireless Internet access. Located just steps from the lake, it is surrounded by beautiful landscaping, including the Biblical Garden.

Centrally located across from The Terrace Hotel and next to Stuart Auditorium, lakeside Harrell Center offers a large auditorium and several small meeting and event rooms — some with beautiful views of Lake Junaluska. During breaks, attendees can get a coffee or snack at Junaluska Gifts & Grounds, then in rockers on the inviting upper level back porch.

The lakeside Kern Center is located near the Lake Junaluska Apartments, Hillside Lodge and Lake Junaluska Outfitters recreation area. It has an auditorium that can be divided into two meeting rooms and a large front porch overlooking Lake Junaluska. The auditorium can also function as a reception area.

Have your conference in a beloved historic inn filled with old-world charm but offering every modern convenience. Lambuth Inn features meeting rooms and a dining room, free wireless internet and has ample parking. Attendees will love taking breaks with a short garden walk to nearby Inspiration Point, which overlooks the lake and mountains.

A historic building with a recently renovated modern interior, Shackford Hall features a large auditorium with beautiful wood flooring and audio/visual equipment. The auditorium is connected to several meeting rooms, making it the perfect place for large meetings with breakouts into smaller discussion or learning sessions.

Plan your next conference at Stuart Auditorium! Located lakeside with tall, sweeping windows, historic Stuart Auditorium, can accommodate up to 2,000 people in permanent theater-style seating.

Have your next conference in the heart of Lake Junaluska! With sweeping lake and mountain views, plenty of meeting room options and on-site catering, The Terrace Hotel can accommodate up to 220 attendees. You’ll be just steps away from all there is to enjoy at the Lake.

Opening in 2024, the Warren Center & Musgrave Event Lawn features a banquet hall and event lawn with scenic lake and mountain views.

The Wilson Complex is a perfect meeting space for smaller groups, gatherings and conferences. Located near Lake Junaluska Outfitters and within walking distance of Yorkside Dining, Hillside Lodge, Mountainview and the Apartments, the Wilson Complex is centrally located to dining, outdoor activities and economy lodging.

Offering indoor and outdoor dining, an accessible partially-covered outdoor deck, and incredible views of the lake, York Dining Commons is just right for your conference snack breaks, group meals and receptions.
