Find your zen at ukulele retreat at Lake Junaluska this fall

Experience a weekend dedicated to music, mindfulness and the joy of community at the Smoky Mountain Ukulele Zen Retreat Sept. 17-20 at Lake Junaluska. 

World-renowned instructor Stu Fuchs will lead participants— beginners to experts—on an immersive experience to help them play with greater ease and deeper expression. Fuchs’ “ukulele zen” approach will help participants connect with their instrument in a way that nourishes their soul

The weekend will include workshops and jam sessions with plenty of time to stroll along the Rose Walk and enjoy the mountain and lake scenery. 

The Smoky Mountain Ukulele Zen Retreat is part of Lake Junaluska’s Artists-in-Residence program and is open to people of all skill levels.

Fuchs will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at Memorial Chapel. Admission is $25.
