For many families, the arrival of fall means football, changing leaves and Sunday brunch at Lake Junaluska.

Beginning Sunday, Sept. 13, York Dining Commons once again welcomes guests to gather around the table for one of the community’s favorite seasonal traditions. Served Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the brunch buffet is $25 per person, including tax and gratuity. Children 4 and under eat free, while children ages 5-11, active military members and first responders receive 50% off. Together, it offers a delicious reason to slow down and savor a Sunday in the mountains.

Featuring a rotating menu of breakfast and lunch favorites, fresh salads, desserts and beverages, brunch is just the beginning of the day. After the meal, guests are invited to stroll the lake’s scenic 3.8-mile walking trail, challenge friends to a game of tennis or pickleball, let children explore the award-winning playground or simply soak in the crisp mountain air and fall color.

“There’s something timeless about gathering around a table on a Sunday,” said Mike Huber, general manager of Lake Junaluska. “Every fall, we look forward to welcoming families, friends and neighbors back to York Dining Commons. We hope people will come for brunch, explore the Rose Walk, browse Junaluska Gifts & Grounds and create new memories together.”

Indoor and outdoor seating are available, weather permitting, with views of Lake Junaluska providing the perfect backdrop for a leisurely meal. Well behaved dogs are welcome outside on the porch.
