We are excited to announce our theologians in residence lineup for the 2025 Summer Worship Series and Theologians-in-Residence program, which will run June 29-Aug. 13, with Sunday worship services at the lakeside white tent, Monday morning devotions on the back deck of Harrell Center and workshops that invite stimulating conversation and discussion.
The schedule for the 2025 Summer Worship Series and Theologians-in-Residence program is:

- The Rev. Dr. Uiyeon Kim, Aug. 3-6
- Brian McLaren, Aug. 10-13.
“We are fortunate that the high quality of speakers we invite to participate accept our invitation with eagerness and excitement,” said Pat McKim, Lake Junaluska’s director of program ministries. “We are intentional in our effort to bring a variety of dynamic speakers here who reflect God’s people.”
Theologians in residence share inspiring messages at weekly lakeside Summer Worship Series services, lead thoughtful Monday morning devotions and host workshops featuring thought-provoking presentations and stimulating discussions. The sessions are free, open to the public and provide opportunities in today’s virtual world for meaningful, in-person conversations.
