Theologian In Residence the Rev. Olu Brown to host five teaching sessions

The Rev. Olu Brown, former lead pastor of Impact Church in Atlanta, will be the guest preacher at the Summer Worship Series service and kick off the Theologians in Residence Series at Lake Junaluska.

Rev. Brown will be the guest pastor at Lake Junaluska’s outdoor lakeside Summer Worship Series service on Sunday, June 25, at 9 a.m.
Then, during daily sessions, from Monday, June 26-Friday, June 30, the Rev. Brown will deliver messages of hope and inspiration on themes such as faith, fear, hope, vision and leadership.

Rev. Brown is a native of Lufkin, Texas. He graduated from Jarvis Christian College in Hawkins, Texas and earned a Master of Divinity degree from Gammon Theological Seminary of the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta.
Under Rev. Brown’s leadership, Impact Church grew from a core team of 25 people to more than 5,000 online viewers and listed at No. 5 in the 25 Fastest Growing Large United Methodist Churches, 2018 Edition.
