Lake Junaluska to host pickleball, tennis tournaments during Independence Week Celebration
Join the fun and excitement of a pickleball and tennis tournament this summer at Lake Junaluska. These exciting events will be held July 1 and 2 during the Lake’s Independence Week Celebration. Enjoy fun competition, great sportsmanship and community on the courts.
Register now for the Lake Junaluska Independence Week Pickleball Doubles Tournament set for 8-10 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, at the Lake Junaluska pickleball courts at the corner of 77 Memory Lane. Players must arrive by 7:45 a.m. The focus will be on fun as players switch partners for each match during the Round Robin tournament. A $25 gift card will be given to each of the two players who win the most games. The tournament is limited to 24 experienced players who know the rules. Balls will be provided.
The cost is $20 per person. You must register by June 18 to be guaranteed a commemorative T-shirt. Proceeds will support Lake Junaluska Outfitters. To register, visit https://bit.ly/LJpickleballtourney26.
