4th of July Parade

Lake Junaluska’s popular Independence Day Parade is part of our multi-day Independence Day Celebration. This year’s theme is “Sweet Land of Liberty — 250 years!”  The parade will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 4, at Lambuth Inn and proceed along North Lakeshore Drive to the Nanci Weldon Memorial Gym. Find a spot and enjoy the parade!

Want to be in the parade on the Fourth of July at Lake Junaluska? The parade will begin at 11 a.m. and proceed from Lambuth Inn on North Lakeshore Drive to Nanci Weldon Memorial Gym. Parade set-up is 9 to 10 a.m. at Lambuth Inn. The 2026 parade theme is “Sweet Land of Liberty—250 Years!”

Please note that the parade rules prohibit fliers, handouts, guns of any kind, including water guns, and offensive signs and language, including political material of all kinds.  Only the American and North Carolina state flags are allowed to be flown in the parade. Also, candy may be distributed, but not thrown.
