Lake Junaluska Conference and Retreat Center launches new website

March 1, 2022

Lake Junaluska’s new website at lakejunaluska.com offers mobile-friendly features, easy navigation, stunning imagery and a color palette of blues and greens to hone in on the natural beauty of the mountain lake destination.

“We are so excited to share our redesigned website and look forward to the ways it will help us better connect with guests and members of our community, and invite them to Lake Junaluska,” said Shannon Quinn, director of marketing and communications at Lake Junaluska. “We hope everyone finds it easier now to see upcoming events, make lodging reservations, and plan a gathering, wedding or retreat, or even just a family day at the Lake.”

The redesigned site launched in February after months of preparation and development, said Quinn.

The mobile-friendly features mean the site loads quickly and is easy to read and explore on mobile phones and devices, as well as on desktop computers.

To enhance navigation, a menu at the upper-right hand corner guides visitors to pages about lodging, opportunities and venues for group events, more about the Lake Junaluska history and community, and how to support the mission of Lake Junaluska through giving. Under the menu heading “Experience Lake Junaluska” is a list of all there is to do, see and enjoy at the Lake, including highlighted activities and events from every season.

In addition, the site has more opportunities for visitors to sign up for updates about the specific programs and events that interest them.

“Booking a room, a conference or a retreat is now super simple – with just a click or two, you’ll be able to book lodging, learn how you can host or attend an event or start planning a wedding,” said Quinn. “We think the new website reflects the beauty and soul of this special place, and we invite everyone to visit online and visit in person soon.”
