A delectable Valentine’s dinner buffet in historic Lambuth Inn and a 20 percent off lodging special make Lake Junaluska a wonderful Valentine’s weekend destination.
The buffet features dishes from roasted salmon with creamy dill aioli to a roast beef carving station will be served at historic Lambuth Inn at Lake Junaluska on Saturday, Feb. 12, from 5 to 8 p.m. The menu for the special dining event also includes baked chicken in a velvety mushroom sauce, lobster macaroni and cheese, creamed spinach, red-skinned mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans with roasted grape tomatoes, honey glazed carrots, homemade yeast rolls, butternut squash soup and an all-you-can eat salad bar. Desserts include red velvet cake, carrot cake, New York-style cheesecake and other assorted sweets. Beverages served will be coffee, iced tea, lemonade and water.
Pricing for the dinner buffet is $29.95 plus tax and 18 percent gratuity for adults and $14.95 plus tax and 18 percent gratuity for children ages 4 to 12 years old. Children 3 years old and younger dine for free. Go-through-the-line to-go meals are $26.95 plus tax and 18 percent gratuity.

Built in 1921, Lake Junaluska’s “stately lady” is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A renovation in 2018 added modern conveniences while preserving the inn’s historic details and atmosphere. Stroll through the gardens to nearby Inspiration Point to watch the sunset over the lake and mountains.
