We are delighted to welcome you to another beautiful summer at Lake Junaluska! The pool will be open for the season from Memorial Day Weekend through August 18.

Hours of Operation (Memorial Day Weekend – August 18):

Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Monday – Friday: 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

As the summer draws to a close, our pool will be open on weekends only from August 23 through Labor Day.
Hours of Operation (August 23 – Labor Day): Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Attire

Our lakeside pool is a family-friendly space. For the comfort of all guests, we ask that swimwear be modest and appropriate for a family environment.

The lakeside pool is located at Lake Junaluska Conference and Retreat Center at 77 Memory Lane, Lake Junaluska, N.C.

Pricing

LODGING GUESTS -Lake Junaluska lodging guests enjoy complimentary access when the pool is open. Wear your wristband that was issued at check-in or show your Vacasa Rental Confirmation.
SINGLE DAY ENTRY – Entry for the pool is $10 per person per day, with ages 4 and under getting in for free. Vouchers can be purchased at the pool or online.
SUMMER SWIM VOUCHERS – Save on your summer fun with our multi-visit swim passes, offering great value for frequent visitors. Packs range from 10 to 50 visits, with each visit using one pass per person. Vouchers can be purchased at the pool or online.

Host an event at the pool

Rent the Reserved Pool Area

A partially shaded area of the pool deck with tables and high-top tables that can comfortably seat up to 25 people will be available for 1, 2, or 4-hour blocks between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. on days when the pool is open. Please note the pool will remain open to the public when the Reserved Pool Area is rented. Reserve Online

Book a Private Pool Event

Private pool events may be held Monday-Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. or from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. During private pool events, the pool closes to the public and is open exclusively for guests attending your event. Book online

Up to 50 people: $500
50 – 100 people: $1,000
100+ people: $1,500

Children 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Outside food is only permitted at the tables within the rentable private pool area and picnic tables.

Posted Pool Rules

All bathers must take a cleansing shower with warm water and soap before entering the pool.
A bather leaving the pool to use the toilet shall take another cleansing shower before returning to the pool.
Food or drink is prohibited in the pool water.
No glass allowed in the pool area.
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
Any person suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs shall be prohibited from entering the pool.
Pets or any animals are not allowed in the enclosure except for service animals.
No running or horseplay on the pool deck.
Spitting, spouting water, or blowing the nose in the pool is prohibited.
No smoking except in designated smoking areas.

Explore More Activities

Rent a canoe, kayak or paddleboard from Lake Junaluska Outfitters and explore the lake from the water. Open daily in summer and select weekends in late spring and early fall.

Play mini-golf, shuffleboard or cornhole at Lake Junaluska. Rent equipment daily during the summer from the Lake Junaluska Outfitters window near the pool.

Tennis and pickleball courts are available at no charge on a first come, first served basis. Rackets can be rented during the summer from the Lake Junaluska Outfitters window near the pool for $5 per racket per hour.

Explore the waterfront of Lake Junaluska while learning a little history aboard the Cherokee IV. Depart from the dock behind the Harrell Center on a 45-minute guided lake cruise. Available late spring through early fall.

Take in stunning mountain views surrounding the serene lake as you stroll along the Lake Junaluska Walking Trail. Along the way, you’ll see gardens and wildlife including our beloved swans and perhaps one of our bald eagles!

Located near the tennis courts, the award-winning J.B. Ivey Playground features climbing structures, grassy areas, a slide, toddler swings, benches and a shelter.
