Ready for a beautiful cruise on the water? Our family-friendly guided boat tours aboard the historic Cherokee IV are a wonderful way to learn about the history of the lake or simply relax and take in the stunning mountain views.
Private Cruises
Private cruises, including sunset cruises, are available seasonally. Private cruises start at $350. To reserve a private cruise, email [email protected] or call 828-452-2881 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. (For information about cruises for weddings, check out Lake Junaluska Weddings packages and options.) Private lake cruises can be booked any time of day, Memorial Day weekend through October.
Public Cruises
As of late October, the Cherokee has been officially pulled from the water for her annual winter rest and maintenance. We want to thank everyone who joined us on the water this year to experience the beauty of Lake Junaluska from the deck of our historic electric tram.
While our scheduled public cruises have concluded for the year, the Cherokee remains available as a unique setting for your next special occasion!

We recommend booking your guided cruise 24 hours in advance to help us confirm the tour schedule. While we welcome walk-ups for scheduled departures, please note that tours with no prior bookings may be cancelled.
