A parade will be held as part of Independence Day Celebrations at Lake Junaluska on the Fourth of July at 11 a.m. Find a spot on North Lakeshore Drive and watch as the parade, themed America: “Stars and Stripes Forever” proceeds from Lambuth Inn to Nanci Weldon Memorial Gym.
After the parade, join us at the open-air gym for food trucks, a family-friendly square dance and music by Whitewater Bluegrass, and kid-friendly activities at the gym and adjacent field.
Join the Parade
Want to be in the parade on the Fourth of July at Lake Junaluska? The parade will begin at 11 a.m. and proceed from Lambuth Inn on North Lakeshore Drive to Nanci Weldon Memorial Gym. The theme for 2022 is America: “Stars and Stripes Forever.” Parade set-up is 9 to 10 a.m. at Lambuth Inn.
Please note that the parade rules prohibit flyers, handouts, water guns, guns of any kind and offensive signs and language. Also, passing out candy is encouraged, and we ask that the candy is not thrown.
