Family Fellowship Time

After a full morning of walking, running or cheering on the 5K participants, spend the afternoon taking time for what matters most. Invite a friend and head out on the water– perhaps taking a cruise on the Cherokee IV or renting a kayak, paddleboard or canoe from Lake Junaluska Outfitters. Make a stop at the Lake Junaluska pool with your kids or grandkids and follow it up with a competitive game of mini-golf. Need a few moments of quiet? Visit your favorite spot at Lake Junaluska to reconnect with God by walking the Prayer Labyrinth, enjoying the shade of Stuart Spring or savoring the view from Inspiration Point.

Lemonade Social
Musgrave Event Lawn
Time: 5 p.m.

Prior to the evening program, gather for a time of reunion and connection with fellow Lake Junaluska Associates at the Musgrave Event Lawn (scheduled for completion in Summer 2024). The Musgrave Event Lawn is located adjacent to the Warren Center, which formerly served as a museum but has now been transformed into a multi-purpose event venue. Enjoy refreshing lemonade while you catch up with old friends and make new ones, too. Take time to discover the exciting capital improvements made over the past year, funded through charitable giving. Follow the new pathway up to a scenic overlook with unparalleled views of Lake Junaluska.

Celebration Dinner & Program
Warren Center
Time: 6 p.m.

Join us for an evening meal and program to celebrate our mission and experience the impact of our ministries. The program will include the presentation of the Junaluska Leadership Award and updates about how Lake Junaluska Associates have helped provide transformational experiences here on these sacred grounds. Charles Maynard will join us as our speaker for dinner. He is a storyteller and clergy in the Holston Conference. Maynard’s first time at Lake Junaluska was on a family trip in 1966.
